Charred Broccoli

Serves 4



Ingredients:


1 lb. Broccoli, rinsed and cut into spears or florets

1 tsp. Garlic Infused Oil*

Salt and Pepper to Taste


Method:


Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.


Spread broccoli on onto a foil lined baking pan, sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Drizzle oil over the broccoli, and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Move the broccoli around on the pan until it feels evenly coated with oil, and salt and pepper is well distributed between each.


Before placing in the oven make sure there is a little space between each of the spears or florets. This will allow the broccoli to get a nice char and to not steam.


Place pan with broccoli in the oven and roast for about 20 minutes, or until broccoli is cooked through and you have desired char. Depending on your oven, you may need to adjust cooking time or oven temperature.


*If you do not have a garlic infused oil: use 1 tsp. olive oil and sprinkle garlic powder to taste along with salt and pepper, or, place a few fresh garlic cloves on your baking pan to cook along with the broccoli.
