Red, White and Blue Fruit Skewers

Makes 6-8 Skewers
16 Strawberries, rinsed and stems removed
32 Jumbo Blueberries, rinsed
1-2 Banana(s), cut into 1/2 inch pieces
6-8 Bamboo Skewers
Using the photo above for a guide, spear one strawberry onto the skewer. Push all the way up to the top, leaving about one inch, for fingers to grab. Follow the strawberry, with two blueberries, and one banana slice. Repeat and enjoy!
To prevent the bananas from browning brush with a little lemon or lime juice. The acid will help prevent the banana from oxidizing.
If you have any fruit skewers left: take the fruit of the skewer and place in your fridge, for a great grab and go snack, or, slice the strawberries and place the contents of the skewer in a freezer bag, for smoothie ingredients to have on hand!
