The Love Your Tree Workshop is part of "Love Your Tree", a nature based creative arts campaign that celebrates the natural and heathy diversity of bodies in our world, and works to promote positive body image and self-esteem in us all. Cost: $25.00

About the event
“This fun and powerful campaign helps people of all backgrounds develop positive body image, improved self-esteem and enhanced media literacy skills, all of which can serve as protective factors against the development of eating disorders.”
The objectives of the Love Your Tree Workshop is to:
Define and understand body image
Learn what influences our perception of what makes a body suitable or attractive
Explore what we like most about our bodies and attributes
Create a visual, using the metaphor, “Like a Tree My Body is…” to celebrate and share all of what makes us special or unique in this world.
